Home Carer – Vacancies throughout Carmarthenshire
Permanent posts with a range of contract hours up to 35 hours per week (casual working arrangements available)
Grade E - £13.59 - £15.30 per hour (includes weekend working)
Our rates of pay are highly competitive with similar posts across the Health and Social Care sector.

Uniforms, bags, personal protective equipment (PPE), and mobile phones are provided to all of our home carers to access their rosters and information about what’s happening in the service and the wider county council, including staff discount schemes.
Being a home carer, your duties will include providing personal care (e.g. helping people to bath, wash, dress, use the toilet), meal preparation, giving medication and helping service users with rehabilitation to help them regain their independence.
You will have extensive training and support to gain the skills and confidence needed to be a great carer. Its hard work but rewarding and you will be part of a big organisation with opportunities to progress. This is an opportunity for you to make a real difference, where your support will enable people with care needs (mainly but not exclusively elderly) to live in their own home when it has become too difficult for them to manage alone.
If you have any previous experience of working in a health or care setting, we are particularly interested in hearing from you.

Home Care workers are required to register with Social Care Wales. We will give you all the support and help you need to become a registered social care worker Registration | Social Care Wales.
