We are looking for an ambitious Home Insurance Consultant to join our sales team, in a fully REMOTE capacity, in November 2024. This position will give you the option of working a 9 day fortnight giving you every second Friday off (no weekend working required)!
Bon Accord Life were formed in 2008 and are the largest independent insurance broker in Scotland and are continuing to grow year on year. This role is fully remote and you will be paid a basic salary of £27,000 with an overall OTE of £35,000.
Although this is a fully remote role, we still have a very tight knit team culture with daily team Zoom calls, internal communication systems; specifically developed for our business, as well as monthly, quarterly and yearly company wide incentives (winning everything from time off and vouchers to all expenses paid trips to the races and international holidays).
What is the job?
Home Insurance has never been an internal component for Bon Accord as we primarily sell life insurance BUT we are looking for the right person to change this. Currently we refer our home insurance leads to an external company and would like to bring this in house. This is an opportunity for an experienced HI consultant to come in and have autonomy of the role with the view to grow it into a team within 12 months.
What leads will you be working?

• You can expect a minimum of 4 live hotkeys per day from our courtesy calling staff.
• Access to our existing client bank who have consented to a call for home insurance.
• Fresh enquiry leads who have requested a quote for home insurance

What you will need…

• HOME INSURANCE SALES EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE
• A proven track record in sales; proof of performance to a high level will be required
• The ability to work remotely (we will provide you with a laptop and headset however you will be required to supply your own desk, chair and second screen)
• Resilience when dealing with customer rejection
• Persistence and determination when dealing with customer objections
• Hardworking, with a positive can-do attitude
