Inzpire's award-winning Mission Systems Division delivers some of the world’s most advanced aviation IT systems from our office in Lincoln. As a result of our continued success and business expansion, we are delighted to offer this opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer to support our exciting and ever-growing range of mission support systems.

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and evolution of ongoing Mission Systems IT infrastructure as well as customer installations.

Although based in the Company Offices in Lincoln, the role will involve periodic visits to customer sites around the UK.

The Person

We are looking for a proactive individual with relevant and recent knowledge and experience of providing network solutions aligned to the Skills and Experience detailed below.

Working within Inzpire’s Mission Systems Division, applicants should have good interpersonal skills and enjoy working within a close-knit team.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Whilst not essential, the following qualifications would be considered desirable;

• VMWare Certified Partner
• Cisco Certified Network Associate
• Veeam Certified Engineer
• Azure Infrastructure and Deployment Certified

Evidence of experience in the following would be considered desirable;

• 3rd Line infrastructure support and project delivery experience (2 years minimum)
• Virtualisation Technologies (VMWare, Hyper-V)
• Powershell Scripting
• Windows Server 2012R2 + Administration
• Active Directory Administration with Azure AD integration
• Cisco Switching and Routing
• Veeam Backup and Replication
• HP/Dell Server Hardware
• Data Storage Technologies (SAN/NAS)
• Network and Information Security Protocols (IPSEC/SSL/Kerboros)
• Iaas, Paa S Services (Azure)

Due to the nature of elements of the role, the successful applicant must be a UK National and may be required to successfully complete National Security Vetting which may require criminal record, security service and credit reference checks; qualification will also normally require a minimum UK residency of at least 5 years.
