This is an exciting opportunity to join our Global IT team in London as an IT Support Specialist.
How you will create impact:
- Working alongside the IT Specialist in London and as part of the wider global IT team.
- Providing technical assistance to users and clients experiencing issues with their computer systems, software, or hardware.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems related to network connectivity, software functionality, and hardware issues.
- Assisting in the setup and maintenance of company IT equipment.
- Responding to and proactively resolving technical issues via email, video conference or in-person.
- Ensuring timely resolution of incoming tickets.
- External partner and vendor management.
- Perform regular testing, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on AV equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Your profile:
- Degree level study or equivalent within an IT related field.
- Previous experience in an IT support role in a corporate environment would be desirable.
- A solid understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 10), end-user client applications, professional business applications, and underlying technological concepts, including basic TCP/IP networking.
- Able to troubleshoot remotely through an IT Helpdesk to address end user incidents & requests.
- Able to adhere to company IT policies and established best known practices.
- Exceptional communication skills, with proven ability to connect with colleagues at all levels, and external contacts.
- Able to prioritise work effectively, keeping the relevant team members updated.
- Robust ability to pick up new technical procedures and use them in daily work routines.
- Solid time management, reliability and organizational skills to integrate into a global workflow.
