Climate Policy Initiative
Junior Analyst
London
October 25, 2024
Background
Climate Policy Initiative (CPI)‘s mission is to help governments, businesses, and financial institutions drive economic growth while addressing climate change. CPI’s Climate Finance program guides decision makers who are working to ensure economic growth while addressing increasingly scarce resources and climate risk. CPI works to redirect finance from high- to low-carbon activities and helps decision makers use their resources wisely. We provide much-needed information on climate finance flows, apply in-depth analysis to guide decision makers on their efforts, and support innovation in finance to address investors’ needs and lower costs.
CPI has six offices around the world in Brazil, India, Indonesia, the United Kingdom, and the United States and acts as the Secretariat for The Climate Shot Investor Coalition (CLIC), alongside similar roles for The Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance (The Lab) and The Cities Climate Finance Leadership Alliance (CCFLA).
Position Summary
The successful candidate will work across the organisation, with CPI’s Tracking workstream and will provide support to CPI’s work on Agrifood systems including working on our CLIC programme. The successful candidate will contribute to the creation and analysis of this dataset
In conducting analysis, the Junior Analyst would work in close cooperation with a range of international partners from the policy, finance, and corporate spheres, as well as with CPI teams throughout the world.
