Job Description
Advanced Labelling Systems Ltd (ALS) is a recognised leader in the UK, supplying labelling and barcode printing machinery to a wide range of industries including food, beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care & the manufacture of self-adhesive labels.
This job requires you to operate machinery in the manufacture of plain & printed self-adhesive labels. Working as part of a small production team, this includes setting and running printing presses and label slitting machines. No previous experience required as all training will be provided on the job.
You will also be assisting with contract labelling jobs which will involve running label application machinery and re-packing of products.
General warehouse duties are also involved. This includes preparing/accepting deliveries - reach forklift license useful but training will be given.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9am – 5.15pm (45mins lunch).
Overtime available during busy periods at 1.5 x hourly rate but is not guaranteed.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £24,862 for 37.5 hours a week, (equivalent to £12.75 p/h )
