Legal Secretary/Receptionist

We are looking for a legal secretary to work at our Benfleet office.
Prior experience working in the legal sector is preferred, but not essential. The successful candidate will be focused on providing a positive customer experience, be positive and open to learning new skills and will be diligent to their work with a keen eye for detail. The role will require good time management, administrative and secretarial skills.
Additionally, the successful candidate must be able to integrate into our existing team and communicate effectively.
This is a full time position and working hours will be 9.00am-5.00pm Monday to Friday with 30 minutes for lunch.
Pay and other benefits will be discussed during the interview process.
The job role is focused on performance of General Reception duties & the provision of secretarial support to fee-earners including:
· Typing documents from audio dictation
· Booking appointments and maintaining the company diary
· Updating and maintaining file records.
· Submission of documents to court.
· Preparing hearing bundles.
· Speaking to clients and other legal professionals by telephone.
· General administrative tasks including filing and photocopying.
· To attend such training as may be approved by the firm as will be necessary to fulfill the requirements of the position
· Adherence to office policies and procedures as required by the company
·Additional duties as directed
