General
HVG UK is looking for a candidate who joins our ambition in setting up an Onshore/Offshore Solutions department, with the support and help of the Solutions Team at HQ in Rotterdam. We will offer spooling and reeving services for onboard, onshore and offshore cranes. We will supply load tests for cranes, and we will offer visual inspection of lifting equipment and wire ropes. The candidate will be commercially and operationally responsible for the Solutions department of HVG UK. The Onshore engineers are currently mainly testing offshore container and steel structures. The future Offshore engineers will mainly focus on reeving and testing crane cables and carrying out load tests.
Tasks
· Sales and account management.
· Prepare and coordinate/supervise projects during implementation.
· Reviews and occasionally discusses test results with customers and/or inspection authorities.
· Continuously improve test and other working methods and proactively initiate improvement actions for better quality, safer and more efficient work in connection with the Rotterdam Solutions team.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for sales and account management of the Solutions department.
· Responsible for thorough preparation/coordination of the Service, Inspection and Test work.
· Responsible for the quality of the work delivered.
· Responsible for safety during the preparation and execution of the assignment.
· Responsible for the turnover and costs of the Solutions department.
