Job Title: Mandarin Translator & Proof-reader
Overall Purpose of the Job:
The part-time Mandarin Proof-reader & Translator is to be a dynamic individual who envisions a fun and challenging career and can edit, proofread, and translate from Mandarin to English to a high standard.
The key tasks include but are not limited to:

• Editing, proofreading, and translating from Mandarin to English to a high standard.
• Documents must be scrutinised in minute details for errors to be identified and corrected.
• Documents must be revised logically and consistently.
• Paperwork quality needs to be controlled and possess good format.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experiences:

• Excellent written English with a minimum of 7.0 in writing on the IELTS exam.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin near-native level.
• Able to work efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Passionate about writing and translating.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: £11.44-£20.00 per hour
Education:

• Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:

• Translation: 1 year (required)
• Proofreading: 1 year (preferred)
