Your Role
As our Marketing Manager, you will be the driving force behind our marketing initiatives.
Reporting to the Director of Brand & Culture, you’ll work directly with the senior leadership
team, including the CEO and Managing Director. You’ll ensure our brand message resonates
across all platforms, reaching and inspiring our audience through effective and engaging
marketing strategies.
Key Goals
● Craft and Execute: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan that
aligns with Young Voices’ vision and strategic objectives, enhancing customer
engagement and monetising data.
● Innovate User Journeys: Develop, evolve, and maintain segmented, multi-channel
customer journeys that provide seamless user experiences and maximise
engagement.
● Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day marketing operations, including writing
engaging copy, SEO and web content management, purchase funnels, user
experience, GDPR compliance, campaign management, and data segmentation.
What We’re Looking For
● Multi-Channel Marketing Expertise: Proven experience implementing, evolving, and
maintaining multi-channel, segmented customer journeys.
● Data and Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of data hierarchy, data flow,
and best practices around GDPR and PECR principles.
● Monetisation and Engagement Maximisation: Demonstrated ability to maximise
customer engagement and data monetisation through strategic marketing.
● Performance Marketing: Knowledgeable in paid digital media advertising, including
but not limited to paid search (Google), Meta, affiliate marketing, and retargeting,
with experience in budget management to optimise ROI.
● Brand and Asset Protection: Skilled in designing and implementing brand guidelines
and tone of voice standards, ensuring brand and asset protection.
● Articulate Brand Values: Ability to communicate our brand values concisely and
consistently across multiple channels.
● Collaborative Management: Experience in promptly working with agencies,
designers, web developers, social media managers, and videographers to ensure
consistent and engaging brand messaging.
● SEO and Web Management: Proficiency in SEO, managing web content, and
optimising purchase funnels/flow and user experience.

constructive feedback and suggestions to enhance our marketing activities.
● Brand Protection: Safeguard our brand identity, ensuring consistent compliance with
brand guidelines across all environments.
● Time Management: Organise personal timelines and schedules to effectively meet
deadlines and achieve goals.
● Brand Ambassador: Embrace and promote the Young Voices tone of voice in all
communications, ensuring alignment with our values.
● Reporting: Regularly update the board on marketing performance, insights, and
growth opportunities to ensure alignment with strategic company objectives.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
● Education & Experience:
○ Minimum Degree in Marketing or related field.
○ Prior experience working in live entertainment is desirable, but not a
requirement.
● Technical Proficiency:
○ Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), data analytics (Google Analytics,
Power BI), and GDPR compliance.
○ Proficiency in digital advertising (Google Ads, Meta), social media
management (e.g., Hub Spot, Sprout Social, Buffer), and SEO tools (e.g.,
SEMrush).
○ Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., Django, Drupal, Shopify) and project
management tools (e.g., Asana and Google Suite).
○ Proficient in using marketing platforms, such as Campaign Monitor or
Mailchimp.
○ Have demonstrated expertise in GDPR compliance and data protection.
● Core Skills:
○ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
○ Ability to write accurate and engaging copy that aligns with the Young Voices
tone and voice guidelines.
○ Proven track record in creating and managing multi-channel marketing
journeys.
○ Budget management skills with a focus on ROI.
○ Ability to communicate and uphold brand values consistently across channels.
● Marketing and Leadership Expertise:
○ Experience in digital media advertising and data monetisation strategies.
○ Ability to manage assets and collaborate with agencies, designers, and
developers.
○ Strong project management abilities to see initiatives through from start to
finish.
● Personal Attributes:
○ Organised, detail-oriented, adaptable, and proactive.
○ Effective team player and independent worker, performing well under
pressure.
○ Positive, flexible and approachable team player.
