The work at Your Local Tutors often involves supporting a student to catch up with the curriculum, prepping students for sitting an entry exam, assisting them to master a particular topic or mentoring to build up confidence- whatever it is, we're here! At Your Local Tutors, we aim to leave all of our students feeling a little more empowered and a lot more inspired.
Can you help us on our mission?
We are looking for maths tutors! We'd love for you to join our fun and friendly team! The right candidates will live in Wimbledon, New Malden, Kingston, Tooting, Streatham and surrounding areas of South West London/Surrey. Please note, that most of our tutoring enquiries are for face-to-face tutoring and sessions generally take place between the hours of 4pm and 8pm (evenings) on weekdays or during the day on weekends.

ELIGIBILITY:

• Tutors must live within Wimbledon, New Malden, Kingston, Tooting, Streatham and/or surrounding areasof South West London(REQUIRED)
• Tutors MUST have experience working with children and/or young people e.g. you could be a tutor, teacher, teaching assistant, nanny/babysitter, childcare practitioner, mentor, youth worker etc. (REQUIRED)
• MUST be able to commit to weekly tutoring sessions (REQUIRED)
• May have experience helping children pass their 11+ and/or 7+ grammar/private/selective school entry exams (DESIRABLE)
• Could have SEN experience (DESIRABLE)
• Should be educated to degree level (DESIRABLE)
