Role: Medicines Counter Assistant
Location: Evans Pharmacy, Newark Kirk Gate
Days: scheduled 18-24hrs+ per week, with the option of overtime and holiday cover up to 40hrs per week.

Monday -Friday 9am-5:30pm
Saturday - 9am-1pm
We are looking for:

• MCA qualified or willingness to undertake training
• Customer service/retail experience
• Confident and friendly with customers
• Willing to go the extra mile to provide excellent service
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Good work ethic, and eagerness to help
• Can communicate well in a team, gets on well with people
• Ability to stay calm under pressure
• Conscientious and punctual

Job description:

• First point of contact for patients and customers
• Providing excellent customer service
• Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
• Responding to patient queries
• Filing and retrieving prescriptions
• Managing retail stock effectively
• Delivering health advice, products and services appropriate to the level of training received
