We are currently looking for a milker/general farm worker to join our established team looking after and caring for our Holstein dairy herd to high standards of animal health and welfare.
Our milking shifts are:
5am till about 9:30am
1pm till about 5pm
8pm till about 11:30pm
Working in a team for the main shifts includes milking the herd, moving the cows round and scraping the sheds. Other work outside of the milking times is varied working with the cows and youngstock and farm maintenance. Depending on the individuals interests we will help to develop both tractor and cattle husbandry skills further and the opportunity to work on our transition and calf unit.
