Job Description:
A warm and welcoming family in Bristol (BS7) is seeking a reliable and caring nanny to look after their two children, aged 2 years, two days a week. The days required are Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 9 am to 3 pm. (There is a second child who is 4 months old, but the nanny will only need to take care of the second child next year.)
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety and well-being of the children throughout the day.
• Prepare and provide meals, including lunch and snacks, ensuring a balanced diet.
• Engage the children in fun and educational activities, appropriate for their ages, including playtime, outdoor activities, and reading.
• Attend to daily care needs, such as changing nappies for the younger child, assisting with naps, and helping with dressing if necessary.
• Take the children on outings to the park or for walks, ensuring they are safe at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organised environment, including tidying up toys and cleaning after meals.
• Communicate regularly with the parents to provide updates on the children’s day and well-being.

Candidate Requirements:

• The family prefers someone who speaks French, but fluent English speakers are also welcome.
• Previous experience with young children is desirable.
• Comfort with animals is necessary, as the family has a dog.
• The hourly rate is between £15 and £17 gross, depending on experience.

• Contract Duration: 1 year
• Availability: The family is looking for someone to start immediately but is willing to wait for the right candidate.
