An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nursing Lead Clinician to join a small team of dedicated care professionals.
Join an expanding group (currently 4 homes) catering for up to 27 residents in a modern but homely environment. Our ethos of small and friendly allows our team to get to know and spend quality time with each resident, develop relationships with families and enhancing individuals’ quality of life.

This job is for an exceptional individual who has been in a Nursing home or similar environment and believes passionately in providing excellent care to the elderly. We are looking for a Lead Clinician who will have responsibility for managing and leading your team effectively, with passion and commitment. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £22.00-£23.50 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week

Qualifications, skills and Experience
- Previous experience of managing and leading a team.
- Adult Nursing Degree / Qualification
- Effective verbal, written, literacy and numeracy skills
- Qualified, registered RGN/RMN nurse with valid NMC PIN
- Have excellent written skills for report writing and completing regulatory paperwork.
- Have excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with a range of people.
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet the business needs.

- Key Responsibilities
- To support the home manager to ensure effective and safe clinical practice
- To support the manager with clinically related aspects of care to include assessment of potential residents
- To support, supervise and advise nursing team to ensure that care delivery meets all residents identified needs
- To monitor standards of care via audits and observations
- Lead clinical review meetings
- To ensure care plants are appropriate to needs and are reviewed accordingly
- To work as part of a team and collaborate with co-workers
- Review policies relating to clinical practice, implement actions plans and provide reports as required
- To assist in the training of staff
- To share values and demonstrate them at all times
