The Role
This role offers a unique opportunity to combine your love for analysing numbers and data with your creative skills in writing ads and designing landing pages. As our Paid Search Executive, you will be instrumental in driving lead generation and revenue growth by optimising our PPC campaigns.
What will the role include?
The marketing team are responsible for generating high quality leads for the business. This is done through a variety of methods including online and offline marketing, this role focuses purely on the online lead generation through digital methods which includes PPC and paid online marketing.
In the first few months, you'll receive comprehensive training in all aspects of online marketing, with a particular emphasis on PPC. Our fast track inhouse training program will provide you with all the knowledge and support you need to excel, including in-depth training in Google Ads and other relevant tools.
Once trained, you’ll be at the forefront of our PPC strategy, testing new ideas and refining our conversion rates. While your focus will primarily be on Google and Bing Ads, there is also room for you to explore new ad campaigns on social media platforms and through remarketing.

Fast Track PPC Training Program
This role will include completing our inhouse fast track PPC development program, with set milestones to be achieved at month 6 and month 12. In the first few months, you'll receive comprehensive training in all aspects of online marketing, with a particular emphasis on PPC. Our in-house training program delivered by our inhouse team and by our external trainer specialising in PPC, will provide you with all the knowledge and support you need to excel, including in-depth training in Google Ads and other relevant tools.
Responsibilities
Within this role some of the key things you will be responsible for are:
  • Following internal training you will be expected to take responsibility for executing our PPC marketing strategy.
  • Offering support and guidance to team members where online paid search requirements are concerned.
  • Report on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to monitor KPIs and be able to answer the ‘why’ for online performance.
  • Ensuring that your online marketing plan is executed to meet the set targets.
  • Reporting on the activity, spend and results of your marketing activities and PPC plan.
  • Actively seeking out opportunities for driving growth and efficiencies.
  • Planning, executing, and evaluating tests across Google and Bing Ads and report back on success.
  • Supporting the marketing with logging inbound leads.
  • Continuing personal development through monthly training.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate should bring:
  • At least 2 years’ experience working on lead gen or B2B marketing.
  • Knowledge of Google Ads, Bing Ads and potentially other platforms like Linked In Ads.
  • Proficient in using tools like Google Ads and Analytics, Excel or data visualisation software to analyse campaign performance.
  • Google Ads Certified – or willing to become certified.
  • Knowledge of GA4 – or willing to learn.
  • Good understanding of landing page design and conversion rate optimisation (CRO).
  • Strong writing skills to create compelling ad copy.
  • Excellent PC skills (use of Excel (Advanced), Word, Power Point).
  • Be a confident communicator, comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Passionate about learning performance marketing with excellent analytical abilities and ready to learn and develop your current skills.
  • Keeps up to date with SME industry trends and changes/updates to Google and Bing Ads.
