Paralegal Apprenticeship.
An excellent opportunity to start a career, complete an apprenticeship and progress within a busy Solicitors. General duties include making and receiving telephone calls, preparing precise attendance notes, and filing, etc.
The office is a small quiet and focused office, the apprentice will be sat by themselves on their own desk working on their own tasks or assisting other fee earners with their matters.
You will be face of the office. Would like to see the candidate confidant, friendly and proactive.
As the admin assistant, you will multitask and ensure that the office runs smoothly and efficiently. Client care is utmost and primary objective and you will ensure that it is provided with ease and satisfaction.
Future Prospects
  • Yes, there is a full-time role available after the apprenticeship completion.
  • There is also potential development further into the law field.

Niche and specialist international law firm based in the United Kingdom, with an India and Singapore Desk. We have a team of experienced lawyers who act for well established businesses as well as high net worth individuals both in the UK and abroad.
Our lawyers are qualified in multiple jurisdictions and specialise in Corporate & Commercial, Dispute Resolution, Corporate & Private Immigration, Commercial & Residential property, and several other specialist areas in law.
Your role within the Practice
  • Answering client phone calls and transferring them to the relevant fee earner
  • Taking payments from clients
  • Handling the office’s petty cash
  • Ensuring the office has sufficient stationary, paper for printers, equipment for desks, etc.
  • Create presentations for meetings and marketing.
  • Greeting and directing clients and visitors
  • Notify and resolve problems within the office.
  • Organising office events.
  • Handling the office’s post
Desired skills
  • Local commute essential
  • 4-9 grades English and maths GCSE's
  • Confident with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage reception in conjunction with other administration duties
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of ICT packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to demonstrate or gain a clear understanding of the firm’s in-house systems where training will be given
  • Excellent presentation, organisation and timekeeping skills
  • Awareness of confidentiality and safeguarding
  • The ability to use own initiative, be able to work individually as well as part of a team
  • Must be well-presented with a clear, pleasant telephone manner
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good client care skills

You will complete the Paralegal Level 3 Apprenticeship
  • This Apprenticeship will involve off the job training.
  • You will also develop your knowledge, skills and behaviours.
  • You need to have an employer to support your Apprenticeship and be employed in a relevant job role.
  • The typical length of this Apprenticeship course is 18 months.
  • This course has multiple start dates throughout the year
