The Brown Dog Pub in the Little Chelsea Area of Barnes in South West London has been acquired by an ambitious investor group with a vision to transform it into a food haven. We are looking for people who have an undeniable passion for food and bold flavours and get excited by the unending array of ingredients and produce out there.
The candidate will be expected to be self-sufficient, ambitious, entrepreneurial and have ownership of all things pizza-related under the guidance of our head chef Jack Scoines. The right candidate will be paid a competitive hourly rate as well as a monthly bonus scheme based on the sales growth of the newly offered delivery service. This could significantly enhance the earnings for the right candidate.
- Oversee all aspects of the pizza kitchen and food preparation
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Manage the home delivery platform(s)
- Help support the main Kitchen on restaurant food prep
- Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met
- Collaborate with restaurant management to ensure seamless delivery and customer experience
- Monitor food costs and work to maximize profitability
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a pizza Chef and/or CDP in a restaurant setting
- Knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Creativity and passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
