Principal Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- To work closely with the engineering teams, preparing high quality images, drawings and documentation that both assists and enhances the output across the entire department.
- Providing support and guidance to other team members and developing systems/processes that maintain consistency throughout.
- Expert or advanced user in Auto CAD and Revit, and able to offer mentoring and guidance to other technicians.
- Undertake specific project work as necessary and be able to manage own workload and the work of others effectively.
- Lead on innovation, take responsibility for developing best practices for efficient software use and new ways of working.
- Revit design should be your passion. You like to create and produce accurate work and take pride in what you do.
- You will be keen to help drive forward continuous improvements using your own ideas to improve the quality, accuracy and ease of drawing & model production.
- As a quick learner and a self-starter you will have the ability to organise your own time well to complete projects.
- You will be driven to improve existing ways of working and contribute to the technical team in a collaborative way.
- Autodesk Revit – extensive user experience required.
- Auto CAD – extensive user experience required.
- MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams etc.)
- Desirable but not essential Eng Tech MICE Dynamo/Python
