The Product Owner will report directly to the Project Manager, Value Chain Management (VCM) within the Future Factory team.
CLM will enable a step change in our contract management capability. By joining the team at this early stage of the project the Product Owner will assume the leading role in shaping both the deployment of the CLM tool plus the associated enhancements to our governance and practices.
What you’ll do as a Product Owner:
- Together with the VCM Project Manager and the selected tool provider, establish and maintain an overall implementation plan, outlining the key milestones leading to deployment of the CLM tool.

- Ensure the proposed solutions will deliver the desired outcomes (KPIs, improvement and benefits).
- Work with IT and Legal to address and resolve any compliance or security aspects arising from implementation of the CLM tool.
- Identify and create a network of key stakeholders to support achievement of the plan, to include the relevant Process Owners within Procurement & Commercial together with representatives of the user community to ensure that the solution meets the needs of all Lo Bs.
- Create a demand plan for resources to enable successful implementation, to include skill set, timescales and FTEs.
- Work with internal Process owners to identify changes required to existing Governance (on BMS) to ensure updates introduced in line with the scope of deployment and timescales of the implementation plan.
- Define and lead preparation activities for data cleansing of existing systems, including activities for Lo B Procurement & Commercial teams to enable transition to new CLM tool.
- Maintain regular communications to the wider Procurement & Commercial function in order that all impacted by the introduction of the CLM tool are kept up to date on status of the implementation.
- Work with the dedicated Change Champion within the VCM team to ensure the impact of the tool, including any changes to processes, practices and roles & responsibilities are defined and shared to ensure buy in of all parties in advance of implementation.
- Collaborate with other Product Owners to ensure a consistent approach and best practice is adopted.
- Escalate promptly any risks and issue to the VCM Factory Project Manager.
- Working with the VCM Project Manager, help develop the CLM feature enhancement plan and any required input to a future business case.
