About the role
You'll be working in our processing and packaging department turning high quality fresh raw British meat and other whole food ingredients into minced raw dog food. You’ll have a passion for producing high-quality products in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
We are looking for more full & part-time team members to join the fantastic bunch of people making and delivering our Naturaw Pet Food here at Thorp Arch near Wetherby.
Full time role available but we can also be flexible in terms of number of days worked for the right people; we are a small family company, so a positive attitude with a willingness to help out in many aspects of the business is really important to us; here are the key attributes you will have:
THE ROLE WILL ALSO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

• Working on all sections of the automated production line
• Making up boxes and line with wool insulation.
• Distribution picking/packing work in warehouse.
• Pick/Pack orders in walk in freezer.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment within the production area.
• Cleaning down of equipment, machinery and floor after production each day.

About you

• Physical fitness - The role involves manual work
• Comfortable working with raw meat products
• Manual dexterity and the ability to work quickly
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to health and safety guidelines
• Reliable with an excellent work ethic
• Keen attention to detail
• Flexible attitude and a willingness to learn
• Driving licence and own transport (able to commute to Wetherby, LS23 7EG)
• A love of dogs, and want to be part of a growing team - As we grow, so do you.
• Right to work in the UK

ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE SKILLS:

• Experience of e-commerce, warehouse picking/packing/despatch procedures.
• Experience in food production or similar environment is advantageous.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and procedures
• Any experience of hygiene, cleaning & record keeping procedures.
• Experience/training on warehouse equipment, pallet trucks and stackers

Only day shift 8-4.30pm Monday-Friday - no weekends. Overtime rate daily @ 1.5x
