Team
We're seeking an enthusiastic, organised and high-energy professional to join our growing Digital Services Team.
Working closely with our internal team of project coordinators and consultants, you will liaise with principal contractors and their supply chain to collate building information into useable O&M manuals.
By curating user-friendly digital O&M materials, Operance equip clients with efficient maintenance guidance, optimising building performance.
This important role enhances customer experience by delivering comprehensive post-construction support, facilitating smooth building operations, and enriching the long-term value of the structures for end-users.
At Operance, we prioritise empowering our team members, granting autonomy and accountability in their work. We encourage everyone to take ownership of their achievements and contributions. Joining our team means becoming a vital part of a high-growth business where you can truly make a difference.
Under the guidance of our Head of Digital Services and Lead Project Coordinator, this role offers an exceptional opportunity to collaborate closely, showcase your talents, establish a path for personal growth, and significantly impact our thriving business.
Role Overview
As a Project Coordinator your role is to coordinate the efficient collection of building information. You'll carry out project coordination activities and act as a liaison for our clients and their project supply chain. The role involves assigning workloads, collaborating with construction teams, generating progress reports, managing project information within the Operance platform, and ensuring compliance with client-specific requirements.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience: Preferable background in compiling O&M manuals, or similar construction related documentation. Prior involvement in building information practices and familiarity with UK construction processes and regulations is advantageous.
  • Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills, pivotal for conveying technical information clearly and concisely. Effective collaboration with clients, suppliers, and internal teams is essential.
  • Adaptability and Learning Orientation: Willingness to grasp new technologies and processes swiftly, fostering continuous improvement and adaptation to evolving industry standards.
  • Qualifications: While relevant qualifications are desirable, they are not mandatory. Practical experience and a demonstrable track record in similar roles are highly valued.

We cherish individuals who embody curiosity, honesty, innovation, approachability, and a spirit of selflessness. Our ideal candidate thrives on continuous learning, makes decisions rooted in evidence, leverages existing knowledge, creates valuable digital assets, tackles challenges with innovative solutions, embraces failure as an avenue for growth, and actively fosters a culture of ongoing development.
