As a QA team member, you'll play a pivitol role in upholding our commitment to delivering products of the highest standards to our customers.
As a key member of our team, you will support the Technical Manager to contribute to continuous improvement and put forward ideas that will help improve the quality, efficiency, and profitability of the business.

Key Responsibilities
Hours / Days: Monday - Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm
Location: This role will be full time on site at our Head Office based in Malton, North Yorkshire
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £14.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine calibration, sampling checks, and audits as outlined in the site Quality Manual.
- Document and manage corrective actions to resolve process issues effectively.
- Daily monitoring of all production lines for quality and safety, promptly reporting any issues to Senior Management.
- Conduct regular audits for adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Perform necessary sampling, including product and micro swabbing.
- Conduct and document Quality Assessments and Taste Panels as scheduled.
- Audit paperwork to ensure due diligence and any corrective actions are taken.
- Check the quality of products against specification.
- Conduct calibrations of food safety equipment as required.
- Record, report, and control completion of any faults of equipment.
- Monitor product weights, temperatures, and quality standards according to schedule requirements.
- Conduct traceability and mass balance exercises when required.
- Ensure high hygiene standards and adherence to safe working practices to all team members.
- Minimum 1 years’ experience working within a quality role is essential.
- Previous experience working within a food manufacturing environment is essentail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Growth mindset, with an adaptable approach, driven on change and variety.
- Meticulous attention to detail skills, with the ability to use own initiative.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Packages.
- Food safety qualification Level 2 preferred but not essential as training can be provided.
