Quantity Surveyor (full time)

Job Description:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in managing the costs and financial aspects of our construction projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for domestic and commercial projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labor costs.
- Monitor project progress and oversee the procurement of materials and services.
- Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Perform risk management analysis to minimize project risks.
- Maintain accurate records of expenditures and financial transactions.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.
- Prepare interim valuations and final accounts for projects.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry (minimum 3 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Proficient in using quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- RICS qualification (or working towards) is desirable but not essential.
