Salary: £50,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance and Paid Mileage (Total Package: £55,000)

Role Overview:
As a Regional Support Manager, you will oversee care homes within your assigned region, ensuring high standards of quality and compliance with CQC regulations. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will support home management teams, drive improvements, and ensure homes achieve at least a "Good" CQC rating. You will also manage financial performance, provide operational support, and cover for Manager vacancies.
Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage elements of the Service Improvement Plan in collaboration with the line manager.
• Support the integration of new systems, including EMAR and electronic care planning.
• Lead, supervise, and support staff across the region.
• Efficiently manage regional operations within allocated resources.
• Assist with recruitment and provide induction training and supervision.
• Promote effective communication and uphold key healthcare practices.
• Address HR issues, performance management, and disciplinary matters as needed.
• Ensure comprehensive care for residents, including emotional, physical, and medical needs, and involve them in decision-making.
• Support the maintenance of facilities and equipment.
• Implement and monitor health and safety systems in compliance with legislation.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience in a management role within a care setting is preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of CQC standards and care quality improvement.
• Flexibility to travel within the region.
