About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Sales Ledger Clerk to manage the invoicing process across our Audio Teams, including J-ET, Audio Track, Audio Lab, and Digital Audio. This is a part-time role, ideal for someone looking for flexible working hours and the option to work predominantly from home.
The successful candidate will be responsible for raising all invoices, ensuring accuracy in entries, and liaising with CS representatives and clients to resolve any queries. While a formal accounting qualification is not required, the individual should have a solid understanding of basic accounting principles and journals and proven experience in this area. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a mature attitude are crucial to this role.

Audio Track (one of the main products across our Audio offering) is a joint venture between Adwanted UK and Peach. Adwanted UK’s expertise in audio advertising, trading and copy distribution has been established over 3 decades. Launched in 2016, Audio Track is the dedicated audio distribution service and powered by J-ET, the radio industry's trading system, launched in 2001. Audio Track ensures the successful delivery of audio ads to all the radio stations and audio platforms that need it. Audio Track reduces administration and drives efficiencies, supported by unrivalled client servicing from our fantastic, expert team. In 2023 Digital Audio Track was launched to deliver audio to all digital platforms exactly when, where and how needed, via VAST technology. Key Responsibilities:

• Raising Invoices: Generate and raise accurate invoices for all services across Audio Track (and if applicable our other Audio products in time). Ensure that invoices are processed in a timely manner, adhering to company policies.
• Journal Entries: Process journal entries via Sage 200 and ensure accurate financial reporting and ledger integrity.
• Client Liaison: Work closely with Client Service representatives to resolve any invoicing queries or discrepancies. Chase clients for POs and be the first point of contact for client invoicing queries. Maintain professional communication with clients regarding invoice-related matters.
• Accounts Support: Provide support to the finance team by assisting with any additional sales ledger or billing-related tasks, or time allowing, other finance administration.
• Month End Reconciliation: Monthly reconciliation of Audio Track sales invoices
• Reporting: Assist the CS team with regular and ad-hoc revenue reporting by client
• Maintain Records: Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
• Occasional Office Attendance: Attend the St Martin's Lane office occasionally for team meetings or specific tasks, as required.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience working in a sales ledger, accounts receivable, or similar role is essential.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and journals.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with internal teams and clients.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with accounting software e.g. Sage 200 is desirable but not essential.
