Sales Support Administrator

Sales Support Administrator - 6 month secondment

Purpose of the job:
To support the Utilities Sales Team by handling administrative duties, coordinating sales-related activities, compiling sales reports and being responsible for administrative recordkeeping via our CRM system.
Key responsibilities:
  • Compile a suite of monthly sales reports and monitor sales efforts.
  • Assist KAM’s/CXM’s as required with Contract/Service set up and onboarding.
  • Be responsible for administrative recordkeeping via our CRM system.
  • Support CXM’s with the invoice validation process to ensure monthly reconciliation of Customer portfolio’s.
  • Receive and process purchase orders.
  • Contact customers by phone or email to answer queries and obtain missing information.
  • Maintain and update sales and customer records.
  • Support the Utility Sales team with all administrative tasks
  • Provide support to your colleagues on complex queries by sharing skills and knowledge
  • Promote a culture of cross functional working to ensure our customers receive a high quality service and that both internal and external service levels are met
  • Meet individual and team objectives
  • Assist in the resolution of customer complaints.
  • Take full ownership of issues, and to ensure timely, effective resolution
  • Prioritise and manage your workload to team and industry timescales
  • Identify own development needs and create a development plan
Skills required:
  • Customer focused; can identify and respond to customer’s needs.
  • Good problem-solving skills, able to grasp problems quickly and draw informed conclusions.
  • Able to work in a complex environment with conflicting demands.
  • Able to work at pace and to actively make decisions within scope of role.
  • Anticipates issues and is pro-active in dealing with them.
  • Can manage own time to meet daily requirements.
  • Flexible, willing and able to cope with change with the ability to work under pressure.
Knowledge:
  • Previous experience in sales administration, or a similar role.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Good level of experience and knowledge of administrative recordkeeping.
  • Strong experience of using CRM systems, Excel, Outlook, and other MS packages
  • Familiarity with sales reports and sales records.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound commercial and financial awareness

Pay: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
