We are looking to recruit a Science Technician to join the team in our growing science department, with additional responsibility for reprographics. The postholder will work under direct supervision for the Lead Technician who is a STEM accredited CPD lead so all necessary training can be provided.

The School of Science and Technology Maidstone (SST) is a new free school which opened in September 2020 with state-of-the-art facilities. Part of the VIAT Multi-Academy Trust, SST is extremely popular within the local community and has been oversubscribed. Offering a broad and balanced curriculum for those students with a special interest and flair for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) subjects, it is our aim for SST students to leave school with a combination of excellent examination results and a unique STEM based skill set. As a new school, SST presents a host of exciting opportunities for newly qualified and experienced teachers to develop their careers with the school.
