Senior Agile Delivery Manager

Our Cloud and Custom Applications delivery unit specialises in agile development of complex custom software and integration at an enterprise scale. We build world class digital experiences and applications, using modern delivery methods, leveraging robust, flexible platforms.
Our projects can span from gathering user insight to designing compelling experiences and delivering them through a variety of touch points (mobile | tablet | web) underpinned by enterprise integration at scale, with capabilities spanning the digital, Cloud and traditional client landscapes. We are seeking experienced agile delivery managers, with capability and aspiration to move into either complex project management or agile coach roles, to work on some of the most innovative enterprise digital projects in the UK.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role
Providing agile delivery manager expertise and consultancy experience to external clients, our agile delivery managers can be placed on technology-focused delivery assignments in any sector and on projects of varying size and degrees of complexity, from single small team assignments to multi-site, multi-country, multi-discipline projects. Projects may contain a blend of Capgemini, client and contract staff and include a range of different stakeholders.
  • Be a flexible thinker who can manage issues with the client whilst maintaining a good working relationship.
  • Follow and execute a clear Agile framework by being the point of contact to escalate issues or blockers.
  • Create a familiar language when taking issues from technical to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa. Ensuring momentum is maintained to create a productive working environment.
  • Apply a project delivery framework to ensure compliance with internal governance standards.
  • Guide the incorporation of Agile principles, collaborating closely with developers and engineers. You'll facilitate obstacle removal and enhancing work efficiency through Agile principles, enforcing defined work methods.

Your skills and experience
  • Proven experience leading delivery teams in a digital context for multiple projects, customers or stakeholders. You’ll have Significant knowledge of introducing and coaching Agile methodologies and techniques.
  • Hands on knowledge configuring and using tools that support agile and collaborative working e.g., Jira, Azure Dev Ops.
  • Ability to resolve Commercial & Contractual Issues, working with or as a Scrum Master, Product Owner or worked in a delivery team.
  • Ideally previous experience with continuous integration / continuous delivery (CI/CD), and the effective exploitation of agile methods within a Dev Ops environment
  • Preferably scaled agile experience working within or leading at least one team.
Your Security Clearance
To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
