Role: Senior Carer
Location: Haywards Heath, West Sussex and surrounding areas
Hours: Full time – 30 hours minimum, alternative weekends
Pay: £13.50 per hour, Travel time between clients, 45p per mile, 28 holiday days
We are looking to recruit a passionate and dedicated senior carer to come and support our growing home care business, Homelium. We’re looking for an individual with previous experience to provide care in local communities and support the branch manager with compliance and senior duties. This is an exciting role for our new area which will be varied and require you to play an active role in the community.

Role Responsibilities
- Assisting with personal care and daily living activities such as serving meals and feeding, dressing, moving and handling, general assistance with comfort etc.
- Helping update tailored care plans to suit individual clients needs
- Help support a small team of carers
- Supporting with administering medication
- Supporting with on-call duties on a rota basis
- Helping training new members of staff in the Homelium way
- Supporting the manager with spot checks, care plans, risk assessments and one to ones and helping junior staff members with training and shadowing
- Attending coffee mornings and stalls to generate knowledge of our company
- Leafleting and flyering in the local community to gain new clients
- Candidates must be available to work alternate weekends and to support with on-call duties
- Have a passion and genuine desire to provide excellent care to residents and patients, quality care is a must!
- All applicants must have the right to work in the UK
- You will have strong communication and organisational skills
- You will be reliable and punctual, trustworthy and honest
- Be willing to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service check
- You must have a driving license
