Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee cloud data migration projects, acting as the primary point of contact with architects and clients.
- Design, develop, and manage the low-level architecture for large data migration projects.
- Hands-on experience with AWS migration and data services, including AWS Data Sync, DMS, Snow Family, EMR, Glue, Athena, S3, and Spark.
- Utilize and maintain Cloudera-based Hadoop stack tools such as HDFS, Hive, Spark, Sqoop, Impala, and Kafka.
- 10+ years in IT, with substantial experience in data migration projects (preferably within Banking/BFSI).
- Proficiency in AWS services (AWS Data Sync, AWS DMS, Snow Family, EMR, Glue, Athena, S3).
- Extensive experience in ETL, Spark/Scala, Java, Python, and AWS Glue and Athena.
- Familiarity with Cloudera-based Hadoop stack including HDFS, Hive, Spark, Impala, Sqoop, and Kafka.
- Solid understanding of relational data models and experience in interpreting data migration strategies.
Pay: Up to £85,000.00 per year
