What You’ll Do:
As a Senior Highway Design Engineer at Mayer Brown, you will play a key role in shaping our projects and driving projects forward. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Preparation of solutions and proposals, consultation, detailed design and detailing of highway improvement schemes for schemes from feasibility through to construction
  • Using Civil 3D, Auto CAD and other software, you will be responsible for preparing technical designs, drawings, documents specifications and other works information for S38 and S278 highway improvements schemes.
  • Liaison with the client team and adopting authority
  • Produce technical reports and proposals
  • Managing your time ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in UK development-related infrastructure engineering.
  • A knowledge of UK highway design standards (DMRB, Manual for Streets etc).
  • Experience of Civil 3D and Auto CAD is essential, experience of other industry standard software advantageous (e.g. Microdrainage, Causeway Flow, Signplot).
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • A full UK driving license.

Pay: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
