What’s important to us is that you understand the non-fiction and cookery landscapes and campaign specialism for this part of the market.

You’ll be a creative and strategic thinker who is comfortable using consumer insight and market knowledge to produce market-leading campaigns with real impact. You’ll also be an excellent communicator able to lead and collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders both internal and external.

Qualities we’re looking for:

  • Outstanding communication skills to be able to pitch ideas, report back to authors and agents and produce materials both internally and externally
  • Digital marketing skills, experience with interpreting data and using it to create strategic campaigns
  • Being able to quickly adapt, respond to trends and pivot to the newest “moment”
  • A self-starter who can work independently and manage multiple projects all with different lead times
  • A confident partner for other internal teams including Editorial, Publicity and Sales to champion each book
  • Be commercially minded, curious and inclusive - always looking for inspiration from outside
  • Be a confident presenter with exceptional interpersonal and senior stakeholder management skills, as well as being able to demonstrate ingenuity and initiative,
  • Have high commercial awareness of the market and competition,
  • Ability to lead on sales growth strategies

Importantly, you’ll be able to show us that you’re passionate about commercial non-fiction and have an eagerness to get our books into as many readers’ hands as possible.

If this sounds like your next role, please apply with your CV and cover letter by 11:59pm on Sunday 3rd November.
