Senior Onsite Support Engineer

We are currently seeking a seasoned Senior Onsite Engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing on-site technical support and solutions to our client base in and around the West Midlands. We are looking for an individual with exceptional communication skills, a background in IT, and the adeptness to adapt to various challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Pay: From £30,000.00 per year

Key Responsibilities
- Onsite technical support and assistance to clients within the West Midlands
- Working amongst the Service Desk to resolved customers issues remotely
- Proficiently troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner
- Deploy, configure, and maintain IT systems and equipment tailored to client specifications
- Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to identify and implement effective IT solutions
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and configurations for future reference
- Remain up to date on the latest IT trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance service delivery
- 3 or more years’ experience as a Senior Onsite Engineer or similar role
- Knowledge in firewalls, switches, routers, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving network issues, including wireless infrastructure
- Strong technical expertise across hardware, software, and networking concepts
- Experience with Windows Server and Windows Desktop Operating Systems
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and internal teams
- Proven track record of working independently and thinking critically to solve complex problems
- Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to client sites across the United Kingdom when required
- Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CCNA, Comp TIA A+, Comp TIA Network+)
- Experience in a customer-facing role, demonstrating strong client relationship management skills
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and practices to streamline service delivery processes.
- Previous experience in an MSP, managing multiple client engagements simultaneously
- Competitive salary within the range of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (based on experience)
