As the Senior Pastry Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Pastry Chef to lead and develop our dedicated pastry team. Your role will involve ensuring a smooth and consistent service while maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation. You'll be at the heart of our kitchen operations, overseeing the preparation and order of service within the Pastry Kitchen.
Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Head Pastry Chef to manage and inspire the pastry team
• Maintain exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of pastry preparation and presentation
• Ensure organisational efficiency and effective communication within the kitchen
• Handle the preparation and order of service, ensuring timely and high-quality output
• Uphold Firmdale’s standards of excellence, delivering delicious pastries using only fresh ingredients
• Foster a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment, encouraging teamwork and professional growth

• Proven experience in a similar senior pastry role
• Demonstrated attention to detail and high standards of food knowledge
• Passion for food and a strong commitment to using fresh ingredients
• Leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate a kitchen team
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
