• Pay rate is £20.5 per hour depending on the experience

Care Home with nursing is a purpose-built 81-bed care home located in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. Our specialist team here provides nursing care, dementia nursing care, as well as as well as short term rehabilitation care and accommodation which supports the diagnosis and treatment of some long term conditions.

ABOUT YOU:

• An RGN or RMN, with experience in a care home setting caring for older people.
• You will have a kind and caring approach with a passion for delivering the highest possible standard of care and support for the residents.
• You will have excellent communication skills
• You will work well within the team, leading, supporting and training junior staff members,
• You will have previous experience in motivating the team.
• You must have a UK Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN)
• Active UK NMC PIN
• Clear DBS and 3 satisfactory references

Here’s some of your tasks:

• You will dispense and administer medication to residents as prescribed, accurately maintaining appropriate records
• You will carry out stock control and ordering of resident’s prescribed medication and medical products
• You’ll need to understand and comply with all statutory and legal requirements that are relevant such as Health and Safety, COSHH, and all aspects of the care Standards Act.
