Overview
We are seeking dedicated and vigilant Door Supervisors to join our team in Burton-on-Trent and surrounding areas. We will be offering staff to work a wide range of jobs including Pubs and Clubs, Events, Football, Retail and College campuses. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This position requires a proactive individual with strong observational skills and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor entry and exit points to ensure the safety of all patrons and staff.
- Conduct regular surveillance of the premises using CCTV systems to identify any suspicious behaviour or potential threats.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering first aid when necessary.
- Maintain a professional demeanour while interacting with guests, addressing any concerns or conflicts calmly and effectively.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement when required and report any incidents promptly.
- Ensure that all security equipment is functioning correctly and report any malfunctions immediately.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a security role or as a Door Supervisor is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of loss prevention techniques and surveillance practices.
- Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and other security technology.
- Certification in first aid is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact positively with diverse groups of people.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required by the role. This is a zero-hour contract so you choose the shifts you can or want to work based on your own schedule.
