Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Newport, UK is currently seeking applicants for a Senior Manager Si C Process Integration Engineering.
Responsible for: As a Senior Manager Silicon Carbide Process Integration, you will contribute to the success of Vishay through driving best-in-class processes and yield performance with your leadership and expertise in Si C process integration and project optimization.
Job Location:
This position is located Newport, UK.
What you will be doing:
- Design, develop and qualify semiconductor Si C wafer fabrication processes.
- Develop new wafer process modules for Si C wafers.
- Execute major process development and/or integration tasks and build up products.
- Maintain, and improve process modules including design rules, structural and electrical specifications.
- Design critical experiments and analyze data.
- Identify, quantify key module deficiencies/technology gaps, and drive cross-functional teams to address.
- Assist in the transfer of a new technology from R&D to manufacturing ramp and qualification.
- Provide technical mentoring to junior engineers.
What you will bring along:
- Master’s or B.S. degree in Semiconductor Device Physics or Semiconductor Technology and/or Microelectronics
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience
- Knowledge of semiconductor devices and industrial semiconductor technology
- Hands on experience in wafer fab process module developments on furnace equipment
- Experience with manufacturing and standard cost environment required with exposure to Semiconductor process-oriented environments preferred
- Exposure to lean manufacturing concepts is highly desirable
- Must clearly and concisely present and interact at a leadership level
- Excellent problem-solving skills – able to identify problems and/or opportunities for improvement and assesses viable solutions. Develop and execute comprehensive action plans.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments concurrently, including ability to assess and manage priorities.
- Effective communications skills, particularly the ability to communicate technical expertise.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. Must be able to build rapport with Operations and cross-functional colleagues and be able to foster collaborative relationships.
