Project description

One of the biggest UK rail network companies operating with rail infrastructure and asset management has a need to develop and support enterprise-level information systems.

To support all aspects of software licencing by analysing, reporting and utilising output from the Software Asset Management tool, ensuring that data is correctly inputted, maintained and validated at every stage of the licence management process.

Responsibilities

Undertake in-depth analysis of data generated by our Software Asset Management (SAM) tool to monitor our compliance position.

Administer the SAM database, updating with new licence entitlement data, ensuring records are accurately recorded in a timely fashion

Undertake review and action of software requests via Service Management queue

Work within defined SLAs, KPIs and OPIs

Working alongside the Senior Analyst help to determine and manage the impact of any changes in licence position derived from project work

Provision of reports to assist with the identification of re-harvesting opportunities within the organisation

Assist with the facilitation of software licence quotations from vendors to aid projects and business planning, including the associated support & maintenance requirements

Skills

Must have

2+ years of Software Asset Management Experience including experience managing cloud licenses.

Excellent proven analytical skills

Attention to detail

Administrative background dealing with large amounts of data

Nice to have

Previous experience managing Salesforce Licenses including Citadel

Previous licence management experience

Use of an industry-standard software asset management tool

Ability to problem solve in a logical and well-reasoned fashion
