Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing procedures.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Collaborate with software developers to enhance testing processes
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential problems
- Conduct compatibility testing with various software programs
Experience
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Experience building automated testing suites
- Strong knowledge of software quality assurance practices
- Experience in quality assurance methodologies and tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

We've put the role as hybrid remote as if you're local and want to work from our HQ in Waterlooville, you're very welcome to. Equally, if you're not local to the office, or would prefer to work from home you can as well.
We're a pretty standard set-up where we work Monday to Friday but the exact hours can be flexi. We offer 24 days holiday a year plus bank holidays and we pay competitively based on experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £23,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
