Salary: £23,888 - £26,111 per annum (Pay Grade 6)
Actual Salary: £19,368 - £21,171 per annum
Contract: Permanent (30 Hours)
Location: College Green Centre, St. George’s Road, Bristol, BS1 5UA, United Kingdom

We have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive ‘Student Mentor’
You will be a confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain excelling working relationships with colleagues, students and stakeholders both internally and externally.

You will be responsible for:

• Supporting high needs students with and without Education, Health and Care Plans to successfully transition into college, and monitor and support positive attendance, behaviour, retention and progress whilst on programme.
• Providing support for students to progress at the end of their study programme.
• Chairing a number of Education, Health and Care plan reviews and/or High Needs reviews for students in receipt of High Needs funding
• Actively engaging with achieving the strategic aims of the City of Bristol College to reduce NEETs and increase participation of the most vulnerable students.
