About the role:
As a Lecturer in Carpentry, you will be responsible for:

• Teaching 16-19 and adult students across a range of Carpentry courses.
• Providing the underpinning support and guidance that will help students fulfil their potential to improve their skills, knowledge and achieve their qualifications with the aim of linking fulltime students to apprenticeships in Carpentry.
• Support students in attending and engaging with their studies including maths, English and tutorial sessions.
• You will be a confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues, students and stakeholders both internally and externally.

To be a successful candidate for the role, it is a requirement that you possess a teaching qualification (or preparedness to achieve one during the first two years' service), an NVQ Level 2 in Site Carpentry, and an NVQ Level 3 in Site Carpentry (or preparedness to achieve one during the first two years' service).
