We have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive person in our safeguarding team for a dedicated mentor for our students who are care experienced. This relates to both children in care and care leavers.

About the role:
In your role as a Mentor for Care Experienced Students, you will be offering 1:1 mentoring support to students who are in care/care leavers both face to face or at times via teams. You will need to advocate for young people on your caseload both in and outside of college if needed and use a proactive approach when doing so. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain excelling working relationships with colleagues, students and stakeholders both internally and externally.
