Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday) working 9am to 5pm, finish at 4 pm on a Friday.
Available to Start from mid Oct 2024.

We have an exciting opportunity to join Beyond Autism - we are looking for dedicated, caring, enthusiastic and motivated individuals who share our mission of empowering autistic young adults to lead lives full of choice and opportunity.
The role involves supporting a young adult in our Post-19 service within our hubs in Wansdworth and out in the community. Working with a team of Teaching and Learning Mentors, you will provide excellent support using the methods of Behaviour Analysis teaching to an autistic young adult and associated learning difficulties. Further training on Behaviour Analysis in an adult setting will be given to the successful candidate.

You will need:

An interest in working with young adults with special needs including autism.
To be educated to Minimum GCSE level essential (pass in English and Maths required) or recognised childcare qualification.
Emotional and physical resilience to meet the challenges and demands of the role.
Experience of working with children and/or adults with special needs (desirable).
To be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
To be friendly, patient, kind and caring, and able to quickly build rapport.
To be IT literate and comfortable with using technology to record and update data.
A willingness to use public transport.
