Job Description
We are looking for an energetic and motivated lecturer to join our team on a freelance basis to guild our learns on through the RICS entry route, across a few different pathways including Quantity Surveying & Construction, Project Management & Building Surveying
The role will involve a mixture of work, including lecturing at the weekend online via Zoom, marking assignments providing specific feedback as to why they may have gained or lost marks, to build learners confidence, slide preparation and course development. It will also include conducting mock interviews so learners are as prepared as possible.
A strong candidate will have a background in the construction industry and be able to bring their real-world experience to the learners, having worked on a variety of projects, good verbal and written skills and a consistent work ethic. The main aim of our courses is to build our learners confidence so they can progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Running 2 hours lectures at the weekend.
- Marking students reports providing specific feedback in a timely manner.
- Answering student queries.
-Conducting Mock Interviews.
- Reviewing and editing lecture slides as needed.
-Assisting with new course development.
Key Requirements:
- Hold relevant academic qualification ideally to degree level or equivalent or be a fellow/chartered Member of the RICS.
- Be happy to work at the weekends.
- Experience of at least 10 years within the construction industry.
- A positive can-do attitude.
- Be open-minded and able to adapt to any challenges which may arise.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £48,000.00 per year

• Surrey, GU9 7LW: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Construction: 10 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• MRICS (preferred)
