Job Overview:

Duties:

• To create a framework contract that can be used to leverage important conditions for the provision of transport services between our Plymouth factory and various collection and delivery locations throughout the UK and Europe.
• To create a tender document for the renewal of transport services in line with the new framework contract.
• To run the tender process for the transport services from start to finish. Working with the onsite Logistics Management team to select the approved transport providers.
• Work with the team to manage a number of contracts from across the service on a day-to-day basis, helping to improve compliance, identify efficiency improvements, maximise revenues, generate cost savings and improve internal and third-party perception.
• To develop and maintain processes and systems to ensure that appropriate contract management information is provided and both parties fulfil their contractual obligations.
• Ensure timely and quality submission of regularly updated performance management reports.

Experience:

• Predicted 2:1 bachelor’s or above in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management or related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
