About the role
The business has a clear plan, is growing and we want to attract high quality service engineers that have a first-class attitude and are therefore able to be a part of, and work within a close-knit team.
Applicants with specific pool engineer experience are desirable, however if you are qualified in electrics, plumbing or heating and ventilation we want to hear from you, as training for swimming pools will be provided.
Our service engineers carry out the following duties:

• Service and maintain indoor and outdoor pools year round.
• Commission and winterise pools throughout the season. This involves re-assembling equipment, cleaning the pool, storing winter covers, fitting summer covers, lowering pool water level, testing and dosing pool water, and draining equipment for winter (pumps, filters etc.)
• Routinely service pools during the season. This involves cleaning the pool, the filters and testing the pool water
• Install and repair equipment (pumps, filters, heaters etc.)
• Locate and investigate leaks; excavate and repair
• Pool builds and renovations
• Break down and fault finding.
• Work closely with the office and management team
• Follow company guidelines around van stock management to ensure maximum flexibility during site work

Most of this work takes place outside on the client’s property regardless of weather.

You have a mature and organised mindset; love learning new things and actively seek opportunities for self-development. You love taking ownership of tasks, working autonomously, and delivering high quality results to a time scale.
Requirements

• Full UK driving licence
• Pro-active attitude
• Good communication skills
• GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4 or above)
• Physically fit
• Punctual and well presented
• Excellent customer service skills
• Service engineer experience is advantageous but not essential
• Plumbing or electrical competency
• High attention for detail
