Team Members under 21 will be paid £1.00 per hour less, which is significantly above National Minimum Wage guidelines for this age group.
About the Care Home:
The care home is located in the centre of Edwinstowe, near Mansfield. It provides a homely environment with a selection of garden areas and offers personal, nursing, and dementia care to 49 residents.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities for Team Leader:
  • Promote residents’ independence with a focus on choice, dignity, and respect, alongside promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing.
  • Lead the team to support the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of the residents by providing the highest standard of care.
  • Support carers in providing personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing, and eating.
  • Administer medication.
  • Promote residents’ choice, dignity, and independence at all times.
Essential Requirements for Team Leader:
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ minimum level 3).
  • Minimum of one year's experience in a residential/nursing home setting.
  • Awareness of the principles of Person-Centred Care Planning.
  • Full Driving Licence.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of the prevention of abuse of vulnerable adults, recognition of the signs of abuse, and procedures to follow in the event of an allegation of abuse.
  • Satisfactory Care Character Assessment
  • Live within 30 minutes of the home.
Preferred Requirements for Team Leader:
  • Two years’ experience in a similar role in a nursing home.
  • One year’s experience working in a similar role in a residential or nursing home; or
  • Two years’ experience in a Senior Care role in a residential or nursing home.
  • One year of experience caring for residents living with dementia.
  • NVQ Level 4 in Adult Health and Social Care or above.
  • Experience managing a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.15 per hour
Expected hours: 48 per week
