Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Technology Transformation Director to spearhead and oversee large-scale digital transformation initiatives for our client. This role is pivotal in driving the strategic direction of technology programmes, ensuring user-centred practices are embedded and sustained. You will work alongside senior leaders to ensure effective governance, optimise funding approaches, and cultivate a high-performing programme team through targeted recruitment and talent development.
As Technology Transformation Director, you will be instrumental in coaching senior programme members and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, with a keen focus on user needs and digital innovation.
To be considered, candidates should have experience in a C-Suite or an equivalent leadership role.
Key Responsibilities / Activities
· Lead and manage end-to-end digital transformation programmes with a focus on delivering measurable impact.
· Coach and mentor senior programme members, supporting their professional growth and capability development.
· Partner with HR and recruitment teams to attract, onboard, and build high-calibre talent within the transformation function.
· Develop and implement robust governance structures, ensuring accountability, transparency, and programme alignment with organisational goals.
· Provide strategic advice on funding and resource allocation to optimise programme sustainability and effectiveness.
· Establish, embed, and advocate for user-centred practices across all transformation initiatives, ensuring solutions align with user needs.
· Monitor and report on programme performance, making recommendations for improvements where necessary.
Qualifications / Skills
· 15+ years of significant Digital Transformation Experience in both Private and Public Sectors, ideally with most recent C-Suite or equivalent role
· Proven track record in coaching and developing senior programme members, enhancing team performance and capability
· Strong background in recruitment, talent development, and capability building within digital transformation contexts
· Qualification/s in relevant field – Technology Management Focus or Management Information Systems (MITM/CTDO)
· Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
· Attention to Detail, Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Analysis
· Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications
