Job Description
Sports Direct is seeking an enthusiastic Temporary Sales Assistant to join our team in Truro, United Kingdom. As a key member of our retail staff, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in our dynamic sports retail environment.

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, offering product advice and recommendations
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our sports equipment and apparel range to effectively answer customer queries
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system
• Ensure the sales floor is well-presented, tidy, and fully stocked at all times
• Assist with stock replenishment and inventory management tasks
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high customer satisfaction levels
• Participate in promotional activities and special events within the store
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Basic numeracy skills and experience in cash handling
• Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings as required
• Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and assist with stock movement
• Passion for sports and knowledge of sports equipment and apparel (desirable)
• Previous retail or sales experience (preferred)
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer experiences and achieving sales goals
